STAFF

The members of our staff...

* are Christians who have both the desire and the gifts to share the love and joy of Jesus Christ.

* meet MI state requirements for lead teachers, assistant teachers, staff, and volunteers.

* complete at least twelve clock hours of training in continuing education each year.

* have CPR, first aid, and blood born pathogen training.

Miss Erika

Center Director

Erika graduated from Martin Luther College in 2007 with a double major in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She served as the Director and Lead Preschool Teacher at Shepherd Lutheran Preschool in Albuquerque, NM for five years. Erika began as the Director at JLMLC in July 2012.

Miss Laura

Infant Lead Teacher

Laura has 15 years experience working in the child care field. During that time she ran her own in-home child care twice. Laura is currently working on fullfilling the standards that the state of Michigan has set for lead teachers.

Miss Ruth

Young Toddler Lead Teacher

Ruth began as the Young Toddler Lead Teacher in August 2012. She has many years of experience in ECE and has taught for Head Start. She has her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.

Miss Tiffany

Toddler Lead Teacher

Tiffany recently completed her education at Jackson Community College. After student teaching at Jesus Loves Me Learning Center she knows the students and is comfortable jumping in to the lead teacher position!

School-Age Lead Teacher

Miss Sara is working on completing her associate's in the field of Early Childhood Education. She has been working at JLMLC since 2011.
